T & W Oyster Bar was founded in October of 1971. Earl Taylor started this future landmark with one small room consisting of a small oyster bar and half a dozen tables. Ran by family members, the small restaurant started to grow. By 1985 Earl had increased his seating capacity to 250 people. At T & W Oyster Bar we strive to provide a family friendly environment. We hang our hat on the fact that people love good food, including the Freshest Seafood available, and that folks still expect great customer service. We've been providing that winning combination of great food and excellent family-friendly service for over 40 years. Our location is convenient to Emerald Isle, Swansboro, and all of the Crystal Coast area of NC. Nothing is more rewarding to us than seeing multiple generations of the same families in our restaurant year after year.
Earl Taylor, the owner of T & W Oyster Bar, can be found in the dining room of the restaurant most every night. Mr. Taylor insists that being here to meet and greet with his loyal customers each night has attributed much to the success of T & W Oyster Bar.
